This role is responsible for the facilitation and execution of all non-technical contractual items pertaining to event performances at the Avalon Theater and the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. The job involves:

  • Responsible for the coordination of all non-technical Tour requirements.
  • Act as Tour Liaison from arrival through to departure in accordance with contracted venue representative mandate.
  • Assist the Entertainment Programs Department with a variety of special projects.
  • Delegate and negotiate with other departments and outside vendors.
  • Prepare and issue entertainer orientation packages.
  • Enforce terms of contract governing performance prior to monetary settlement with responsible artist designate.
  • Prepare profit & loss reports and critical analysis of each performance.
  • Accurately track all programs expenses associated with a particular act.
  • Perform administrative duties such as composing and generating correspondence, attend meetings and prepare minutes.
  • Effectively communicate via approved channels with all stakeholders current statuses, plans of action and expected outcomes associated with a particular act.
  • Work safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Act as an ambassador on behalf of Niagara Casinos to promote the property/venue
  • Physical demands associated with this position include long periods of standing, extensive walking, ability to lift up to 50lbs   
  • Must thrive with an unconventional work schedule; fluctuating shift lengths including evenings and weekends. 
  • Must be able to work in/around loud and crowded environments

The ideal candidate has:

  • College Diploma or equivalent work related experience.
  • Minimum 1- 3 years progressive experience in the field of live entertainment/special events.
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word, Outlook, Adobe).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent judgment and ability to work in a high-pressure environment as well as demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Easily adaptable personality
  • Integrity to uphold the utmost of professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
