HP is seeking an experienced, visionary, and results-driven executive to join our leadership team as Industrial Print Software and Solutions VP & GM. This critical role is responsible for developing, scaling, and managing HP’s Industrial Print Software business—complementing our industry-leading hardware and supplies portfolio. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to drive digital transformation in the printing industry, shaping the future of work and leveraging software and artificial intelligence to unlock new sources of demand and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the end-to-end strategy for the Industrial Print Software and Solutions business, ensuring alignment with HP’s overall industrial print vision and growth objectives.
Lead the development, commercialization, and scaling of AI-powered software solutions that enhance the value proposition of HP’s industrial presses and supplies.
Identify and prioritize market opportunities, customer segments, and solution areas, balancing short-term impact with long-term strategic growth.
Work in close partnership with the hardware business units to deliver seamless, integrated offerings that drive customer adoption and satisfaction.
Engage directly with global brands, consumer platforms and print aggregators to understand their evolving needs, co-create solutions, and unlock incremental demand for HP presses.
Build and inspire a high-performance, multi-disciplinary team across product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success.
Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with key ecosystem players, including third-party developers, OEMs, finishing vendors and workflow integrators.
Drive go-to-market planning and execution, including product launches, channel enablement, and lead generation strategies.
Set and manage financial targets, resource allocation, and operating budgets for the business unit, ensuring accountability for results and sustainable profitability.
Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
Represent HP externally as a thought leader in digital and industrial print transformation, speaking at industry events and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in software business development, product management, or general management—ideally within B2B technology, printing, or industrial automation sectors.
Demonstrated track record of building and scaling software businesses, with strong expertise in SaaS, cloud platforms, AI/ML or workflow automation solutions.
Deep understanding of the print industry value chain and the role of software in driving digital transformation for enterprise customers.
Proven ability to engage with C-level executives at brands, enterprise customers, and aggregated print service providers to build lasting partnerships and open new markets.
Exceptional strategic planning, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and people development abilities, with experience managing global, cross-functional teams.
Entrepreneurial mindset, high degree of initiative, and passion for driving innovation and change within a large, matrixed organization.
Willingness to travel globally as required.
