About the Role & Program

Disney’s Ad Sales team is seeking interns who will be an exceptional addition to our Sales team on one of our exciting brands. These brands are composed of The Walt Disney Company’s global entertainment and television properties.

This is an opportunity for interns to gain exposure on how Disney helps shape the digital entertainment marketing space. Ad Sales interns will be immersed in the world of digital operations while learning the complexities of the sales ecosystem. Interns will interact and coordinate with many business units in order to understand how we receive and fulfill advertising buys.

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2026 - August 2026 based in New York City.

What You Will Do

Interns will be selected to work across one of our various departments and will have the opportunity to meet and network throughout the Disney Advertising organization by the end of the program. Opportunities include:

Adverting Sales

  • Support Account Executives in advertising reporting, share account updates and work cross functionally with teams inside the Disney Ad Sales landscape that drive revenue and engagement for our partners

  • Learn the lifecycle of a digital ad campaign and become well-informed about developments within the media industry

Client Brand Solutions

  • Assist with the creation and stewardship of sales communications related to client and brand experiences, trade communications, industry events and internal/external communication systems

  • Work collaboratively to help manage a broad range of communication tools and systems including Cantina, FastPass, Swoogo, Sharepoint, Slide Library and email Templates

Linear Ad Operations

  • Assist with leading and managing television Ad Sales accounts from booking to invoicing

  • Provide insight on advertiser behavior from both the buying and trafficking side of the agency

  • Day-to-day point of contact for ad agencies and sales teams, booking commercial inventory, implementing agency requests and changes for their ad schedules and ensuring accuracy with deal points and traffic instructions

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Keynote

  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, operating within the context of highly defined, routine processes and procedures adhering to organizational deadlines

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills and strong written and verbal communication

  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the Advertising Sales industry

  • Previous experience working in media and entertainment (academic or internship)

  • Knowledge of Disney’s multimedia properties and affinity for The Walt Disney Company

Education

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major or previous coursework in Advertising, Communications, Marketing or related major preferred  

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization 

Additional Information

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship 

  • Fully available from Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York City area

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.50 per hour.
