Description -
The Cost Program Manager is critical for modernizing R&D and streamlining the cost structure of our products and development processes. This position will drive cost/OPEX initiatives across the OPS and Product Development Organizations. Driving strategic initiatives to find efficiencies and meet the Print Office targets on OPEX efficiencies and NPIs GoG cost reductions will be highest priority.
This position will also be responsible for driving the product cost reduction roadmap, ensuring NPIs and current products cost reduction projects are in place, and meeting P&L embedded assumptions on cost structure improvements. This role will drive OPEX spending, the processes and activities to ensure meeting targets of quarterly spending, acting as focal point for Finance and integrating the back-end spending at each of the lab locations. Managing the LTP OPEX Product Development process, driving initiatives of process improvements and projects to enable savings and efficiencies will be crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategize and drive the cost roadmap activities with key internal and partners stakeholders, ensure governance and reporting is clear and smooth, allowing periodical updates to L3 and L2 meetings.
Drive internal teams and link with Finance to meet Prod Development OPEX and Headcount guidance in the flash process.
Drive OPEX reduction projects in Product Development (HW assets efficiencies, labs infrastructure, etc).
Driving Long Term Planning OPEX process with Product Development labs, Product management and partner organizations
Coordinate timely updates in the financial tool by the different OPEX planners
Identify opportunities of OPEX savings across the labs of Product development and OPS partners.
Lead and integrate the roadmap of Product Development activities to reduce costs through NPIs and Current products.
Track and manage cost reductions updates monthly and quarterly, partnering with Operations MIB process and Program managers for NPIs.
Product Cost tools and process curator in NPIs.
Establish the governance processes around cost for enabling regular updates at executive L3 & L2 forums.
General Responsibilities
Identifies research, tools, and analysis required to achieve objectives for large, complex business strategy projects.
Structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies and tactics.
Consults with business executives on a wide range of issues related to the strategy formulation process, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
Provides thought leadership and contributes to expanding the knowledge base within area of expertise which includes developing new methods, techniques and criteria for developing strategy analysis and recommendations.
Leverages strategic and management consulting frameworks to implement a comprehensive portfolio approach for evaluating and managing the organization's diverse business units, platforms, and products.
Facilitates regular follow-ups on strategic planning to foster collaboration and ensure accountability.
Education & Experience:
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
