Primary Purpose
JOB EXPECTATION: Engage in job duties outlined below, to reduce risk exposure in areas of cyber and physical security; and to promote our mission of safeguarding the people, property, reputation and shareholder value of the corporation. PURPOSE Support the operation and management of integrated physical security systems (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, intrusion detection & alarm systems, etc.) for the Company's significant operating facilities Maintain security system operational controls and provide system troubleshooting expertise Analyze data to isolate system and user errors; identify hardware failures, and support the implementation of recommendations and enhancements Manage projects for small-to-midscale security system implementations and changes Ensure compliance with NERC CIP and other applicable regulatory requirements Provide insight to Security Specialists in the areas of design and implementation of physical security systems, performance monitoring, and synergy opportunity identification Support the security vulnerability assessment process by providing systems details, operational designs, and budget development assistance Assist in developing physical security standards for systems operational support Support improvements to current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades Define and monitor system metrics Create reports for written and oral briefings Support NERC, FERC, and internal audit requests
Note: This is a hybrid position (in-office with remote flexibility). Employees are required to be in office at least three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). This position must sit out of our Joliet -IL, Owings Mills - MD, Kennett Square - PA, Chicago - IL, Philadelphia - PA, Mays Landin - NJ, Baltimore - MD, Washington - DC, Newark - DE or Oakbrook Terrace - IL office. This position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
Primary Duties
Support various security projects during the implementation, testing, and commissioning, project close out, and turnover efforts; Ensure compliance with NERC CIP and other applicable regulatory requirements
Provide operational support to corporate physical security systems, including the management of security integrator relationships, escalation of problem resolutions, and security operations center assistance, as needed
Analyze system performance and provide metrics for system and team operational support
Maintain physical security standards and procedures (
Job Scope
Interface with various Company personnel (i.e. design engineers, integrators, IT organizations, compliance, end users, Operating Company security organizations, and Business Unit management) to develop, implement, and maintain an integrated physical security system, compliant with Exelon's physical security standards and industry regulatory requirements, that protects critical infrastructure and operating facilities
Work under the minimal supervision of senior team members with approximately 15% of efforts on field assignments and 85% of efforts in office; field work may increase as job progresses
Limited overnight travel, extended hours possible for project completion/support, and on-call rotational support availability

2-4 years of experience with integrated physical security, including enterprise systems environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Knowledge of PC/desktop workstation: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 years of experience with integrated physical security systems
Experience with NERC and/or FERC environments
Project management experience
Certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or comparable industry designations
Systems knowledge: ExacqVision Video platform, Tyco CCure Software House Access Control, Avigilon Rialto Video Analytics, DMP Burglar Alarm Systems, outdoor detection hardware

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $72,000.00/Yr. – $99,000.00/Yr.
