Presales Solution Architect – Cloud, Infrastructure & Security (CIS) will be responsible for driving pre-sales, solution strategy, and business development for Infinite’s Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security portfolio. This strategic leadership role demands a seasoned professional who can conceptualize, design, and position compelling cloud and infrastructure solutions, while ensuring alignment with delivery teams and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Sales & Business Development
    • Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and pursue CIS opportunities across industries and geographies.
    • Lead RFP/RFI responses, develop solution proposals, and deliver executive presentations.
    • Collaborate closely with delivery teams to align solutions with execution capabilities, ensure feasibility, and develop competitive, differentiated proposals.
    • Drive effort estimation and cost modeling to support accurate pricing, deal structuring, and margin optimization during the bid process.
  • Solution Architecture & Strategy
    • Develop end-to-end cloud and infrastructure strategies for datacenter, edge computing, networks, storage, backup, and security domains.
    • Create innovative solution themes and winning strategies that differentiate Infinite in the marketplace.
    • Translate emerging technology trends into actionable roadmaps for clients.
    • Architect solutions across Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaaS, Storage, Backup, and Security domains.
    • Ensure alignment with best practices in infrastructure design, ITIL, and IT operations.
    • Conduct commercial and technical analysis to ensure solutions are viable, competitive, and aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Practice Enablement & Thought Leadership
    • Provide insights into evolving trends in Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaaS, and IT infrastructure management.
    • Engage with alliance partners and technology vendors to build solution ecosystems and stay abreast of industry innovation.
    • Support delivery excellence through blueprints, governance models, and knowledge-sharing.
    • Drive innovation through emerging technologies and industry certifications.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline).
  • 12–15 years of progressive IT experience with strong exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure management, and solution strategy. At least 4–5 years in a pre-sales/business development leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pre-sales, proposal development, and large-scale transformation programs.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, IT infrastructure strategy, operations, and design.
  • Hands-on exposure to storage (EMC, NetApp, Hitachi), backup solutions (e.g., NetBackup, Rubrik), and ITIL frameworks.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.
Preferred Certifications
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP — e.g., Google Cloud Digital Leader).
  • Vendor/technology certifications in storage, backup, or security.
  • ITIL or equivalent service management frameworks.
