Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design and solution architecture for Oracle Fusion Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PO) and optimize extensions, configurations, and FBDI/API-based automations adhering to Oracle Cloud best practices.
- Collaborate with finance product owners to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Partner with Service Delivery and Support teams for performance optimization, patch analysis, issue triage and drive continuous improvement in performance, reliability, and observability of ERP and integration platforms.
- Architect and develop end-to-end integrations across Oracle Fusion, data platforms, and other enterprise systems, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or similar middleware.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams to build data pipelines from Oracle Fusion into data lake / warehouse (Snowflake, and/or OCI Data Lake).
- Design canonical data models for financial and operational reporting.
- Implement data quality, lineage, and metadata frameworks to maintain integrity and compliance.
- Drive the adoption of Agentic AI to re-imagine finance workflows (e.g., invoice processing, journal entry validation, reconciliation, supplier communication, collections).
- Serve as technical SME and mentor for engineers, analysts, and support staff across ERP and integration domains.
- Define and enforce coding, testing, and deployment standards for ERP and middleware engineering and establish API governance, versioning, and security frameworks across all ERP touchpoints
- Participate in architecture review boards and change control processes.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to SOX, GDPR, and enterprise controls.
Skills and Experience:
- 10–15 years of experience in enterprise software engineering, including 8+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance (mandatory) — strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Subledger Accounting, and OTBI.
- Experience designing and developing integrations using OIC, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FBDI, and ADFDI.
- Strong understanding of data models, metadata, and security frameworks in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, and OTBI customizations.
- Proven experience integrating ERP with external platforms and strong data modeling and transformation skills for data warehouse ingestion and reporting.
- Knowledge of LLM integration, prompt engineering, and AI workflow orchestration.
