Job Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance and security of Microsoft SQL Server development testing and production database environments The DBA plans backup and recoveries disaster recoveries and maintenance of the data schema The DBA works closely with other teams so components of the system integrate accurately with the data framework and should have Azure cloud Knowledge

Responsibilities

Clear understanding of MSSQL Database architecture

Experience in Hot and cold Backup and restoration

Experience in Database patching Database upgrade Database Migration

Experience in performance tuning

Experience in setup maintenance and troubleshooting of AlwasON

Knowledge of TSQL

Ability to do capacity planning and DB configuration for high performance

Excellent communication Skills written verbal

Open for 247 shifts

knowledge in High availability is added advantage

Any other DB OracleMYSQLPostgresql knowledge is added advantage

Any Scripting knowledge shellpythonpowershell is added advantage

Any cloud knowledge AWSAzureGCP is added advantage

Experience in MySQL Administration

Installing configuring MySQL server and client software

Understanding of MySQLs underlying storage engines such as InnoDB and MyISAM

Experience in MySQL and 5x and 8x Schemas database versions Experience in MySQL and Enterprise Monitoring

Experience in Upgrade and Migration of MySQL databases

Performance Tuning of MySQL databases and patching

Planning scheduling and taking MySQL backups and recovery

Experience in MySQL Enterprise Backup

Experience in high availability configurations Replication disaster recovery planning

Experience in MySQL Query Analyzer

Experience on MySQL Workbench

Experience in Azure cloud using MYSQL database

Excellent communication Skills written verbal
