Seasonal Shop Team Member
Department: Business Development
Reports to: Shop Manager
Pay Grade:16-NE Team Member
Pay Range: $15.81 - $18.97
Job Summary:

Every candle poured, every product sold, and every customer welcomed helps sustain the healing journey for women rebuilding their lives.
Provides support and contributes to the successful operations and goals of the Shop at Thistle Farms. This includes ensuring outstanding customer service, visual merchandising, and inventory control. This position will report to the Shop Manager. This is a seasonal temporary position through the end of December.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greets guests and practices radical hospitality to give guests superior customer service
· Performs POS sales transactions and cash management.
· Ensures that retail operations align with Thistle Farms goals for outstanding hospitality and customer service.
· Completes opening/closing procedures.
· Adheres to loss prevention practices and is aware of and reports potential incidents.
· Maintains a safe work environment and reports any potential hazards.
· Maintains the store's organization, appearance, and cleanliness.
· Restocks all inventory. (TF / Global / Apparel / Merchandise)
· Take inventory of the shop on the last day of every month.
· Provides sales coordination and problem resolution for customers.
· Communicates to B&H and Global departments when barcode malfunctions happen
· Attend Product and Sales trainings
· Participate in Shop events scheduled outside of regular working hours
· Adhere to The Shop dress code
Qualifications
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· Ability to operate POS units and troubleshoot any product/pricing issues and enact appropriate solutions.
· Knowledge of cash management principles and procedures.
· Knowledge of customer service standards and protocols.
· Ability to analyze and solve problems.
· Knowledge of retail stock management.
· Ability to summarize and reconcile retail sales reports.
· Ability to supervise and train back-up staff/volunteers.
· Knowledge of visual merchandising and sales promotion techniques.
Physical Requirements:
· Able to bend, stoop, and lift approximately 25 pounds as well as climb stairs frequently
· Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time
· Available to work Saturdays and some weeknights and Sundays if required
