We have a great opportunity for you as a Marketing Assistant at CUSB Bank!!
Position Summary
This position will work in a collaborative marketing department with key responsibilities in social media, videography, and event coordination.
Social Media:
· Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and other online platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. Assist in monitoring comments, responds to comments and creates social media posts. Create and disburse Documatix emails.
· Work with bi-lingual staff to create marketing and informational material for our bi-lingual customers.
· Work with Marketing Director and bank personnel in the creation of marketing material of new products across various platforms.
· Post job openings, employment anniversaries and new hires to social media.
· Serve as the administrator for the Bank Web site.
· Serves on CUSB Social Media Committee.
Videography:
· Develop and design video content to enhance CUSB Bank’s digital presence.
· Demonstrates use of all video production equipment and editing suite to create videos for brand and product awareness and training purposes.
· Record and produce radio advertisements and disburse to radio media contacts monthly.
Events & Culture Engagement:
· Partner with the Marketing Director to identify initiatives that support customer retention, business growth, and community involvement. Assist with event coordination including scheduling venues, food and entertainment. Assist branch locations with special events and campaigns. Photograph events when present.
· Maintain schedule and coordination of the Bank’s grill and grilling events.
· Participate in community activities as needed and any other activities that may arise.
· Lead the Employee Smart Squad Committee in developing and coordinating employee events that positively shape and support company culture.
· Work with Human Resource on the brand consistency selection in the apparel store.
· Assist with the research and ordering of promotional items.
VIP Connection:
· Provide administrative and travel support to VIP Connection as needed.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Commitment to teamwork and reliable work ethic.
3. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with both customers and coworkers.
5. Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to operate standard office equipment and to compose business correspondence and reports.
8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9. Experience with marketing design programs preferred.
10. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
11. Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
12. Ability to identify problems, solves them, acts decisively and shows good judgement.
13. Comfort with public speaking. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
14. Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
15. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
