As the Coordinator, Energy Efficiency you will be working closely with multiple departments within Link including Sustainability, Energy Management, Construction, Property Management, Accounting and Transactions teams. The Coordinator is responsible for providing data information reports to the Building Solutions management team and to senior company management, as well as managing transactions as they relate to ongoing construction and potential projects that result from due diligence. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the data flowing through the regions to communicate information to construction, accounting, and overall company management teams, and develop a grasp of the financial information that all parties involved in Building Solutions need to operate our portfolio.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Link to further develop Energy Efficiency programs 

  • Engage in the development and implementation of portfolio wide sustainability policies and programs  

  • Assist with strategic enterprise level sustainability projects and energy efficiency projects 

  • Take part in research assignments for new projects and technologies for use in the portfolio  

  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts and tasks, including liaison with various management teams including development, operations, leasing and construction teams 

  • Consistently adapt to new aspects in construction and operations reporting and assess methods to improve reporting 

  • Interface with regional contract admins, property managers, project managers, and external vendors/contractors/developers  

  • Engagement in multiple budgeting & financial reporting processes across the various portfolio level programs, including invoice processing & payment  

  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks such as coordinating meetings, responding to mail and general office management tasks 

  • Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy 

  • Other duties/special projects as assigned 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • BS/BA required, Business, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, or similar field.  

  • Proficient computer skills including, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook; Yardi a plus 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, follow instruction, and prioritize work based on varying conditions 

  • Must be detail oriented, possess strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, and computer skills. 

  • Must demonstrate a proven ability to meet deadlines, to work well under pressure, and to exercise exceptional time management 

  • Excellent verbal, written, critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

  • Understanding and interpretation of basic construction and accounting terminology 

  • Candidate should be a proactive and motivated individual who is willing to help the company streamline processes and add efficiencies.
