Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
- Work on compensation consulting projects for emerging businesses, public entities, and Fortune 500 companies
- Partner with consultants who have years of compensation consulting experience and generate millions of dollars in revenue for CBIZ
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of base and incentive pay, as well as executive compensation programs
- Conduct market analyses to assess competitive compensation: select appropriate published surveys, match actual job duties to published survey duties, and compile, analyze and update data
- Design competitive salary ranges for entire organizations and develop pay administration policies and procedures
- Practically apply classroom learning to a professional business environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a possible concentration in accountancy, economics, finance, human resource management or management
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, research, and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to multi-task, think independently and problem-solve in a results-driven team-oriented environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Strong computer and technical skills including, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, intranet
- Microsoft Excel expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks to meet client deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field associated with the CBIZ business models
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 preferred
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Active participation in student organizations and work experience in related field a plus
