Position Summary Under the direction of the Merchandising Service Support Manager, works in a team environment while performing administrative tasks which support all employees. This position includes but is not limited to providing staffing support to the field and assisting employees with matters regarding employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with the field team in assigned area to meet staffing goals
- Recruits’ prospective employees by posting job advertisements to various recruiting sources
- Oversees the distribution of applications based on established hiring criteria
- Processes new hires using E-verify
- Builds and maintains productive working relationships with field teams through ongoing communication
- Verifies employment for employees as requested
- Collaborates on the design and delivery of company materials, including presentations and reference documents
- Assists with the planning and logistics of corporate meetings and events
- Analyzes data from numerous systems to create reporting tailored for the business
- Maintains inventories and coordinates the distribution of supplies to the field
Qualifications
- Degree in Business or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive software skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, One Note, and PowerPoint and proficient use of a Windows-based computer system
- Internet research capabilities
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills that apply to all levels of the organization
- Manages time effectively to achieve multiple project deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to achieve accuracy in all work
- Willingness to embrace new technology
- Willingness to embrace company culture
- Must pass criminal background check
- Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to use a computer for the entire shift
- Candidates must be able to use other standard office equipment such as phones and copiers
- This position is primarily indoors in an office setting and includes sitting for extended periods of time
- The role has administrative duties which would require the ability to perform fine manipulation, lift up to 10 pounds, and bend or stand as necessary
- This is a flexible working schedule where employees work partly at the corporate office in the physical workplace, and partly remote – at home or from another workspace
- Work is typically performed between the hours of 8am – 5pm EST
- Reliable internet connection is required
