THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Linen and Supplies Manager at Aria to assist with daily hotel supply operations needed to ensure that the campus Housekeeping and Environmental Services departments have all necessary supplies and equipment.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Manages inventory and par levels to ensure daily supply needs are met while minimizing costs; oversees MMS updates, requisitions, and proper security and documentation of all warehouse supplies.

  • Analyzes and monitors financial performance, including monthly operating supply expenses, usage trends, and budget compliance on Profit & Loss statements to guide purchasing and annual budget projections.

  • Collaborates with vendors and purchasing to resolve product issues, oversee liquidation of obsolete items, maintain cost-effective supply contracts, and research or implement new and sustainable products.

  • Supports staff training and HR functions, ensuring proper onboarding, equipment use, OSHA compliance, and a workplace culture focused on teamwork, recognition, and adherence to company and legal policies.

  • Coordinates operational procedures and communication across Housekeeping and Environmental Services, including development of standardized tasks, supervision of inventories and repairs, and communication of backorders or new product specifications with MGM Design Center.

  • Works with the MGM Resorts International Design Center on specifications for new items for the Housekeeping and Environmental Services departments.

  • Manages Human Resource responsibilities including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training and succession planning processes that encompass the property’s diversity commitment; adherence to the property’s status quo third party representation philosophy; compliance with established policies, legal requirements and collective bargaining agreements.

  • Assists with training and tracking employees on equipment use, relevant systems based on their individual job responsibilities, new hire onboarding/training checklists, safety and OSHA-related standards, certifications, and requirements.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience working with inventory and supplies, preferably in a warehouse setting with supervisory responsibilities required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Experience working in a warehouse/inventory in a Hotel/Resort setting highly preferred
