Job Summary
In your role as a BER Sales Representative, you will focus exclusively on promoting and selling Building Envelope Restoration (BER) services within a defined territory. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position requires someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at consultative selling, with the ability to educate clients on Pax’s value proposition and tailored restoration solutions.
We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication and people skills, who thrives on achieving sales goals and creating long-term customer partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for Building Envelope Restoration (BER) projects in assigned markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, property managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Promote Pax’s BER services by presenting tailored solutions that meet client needs and project objectives.
Collaborate with the VP of BER and Business Development Leaders to execute strategic sales initiatives and expand market share.
Attend networking events, pre-bid meetings, and client presentations to strengthen Pax’s visibility and reputation.
Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to proposal delivery and contract negotiation.
Work closely with estimators and project managers to prepare accurate proposals, scopes, and budgets aligned with client expectations.
Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to leadership.
Maintain a deep understanding of BER service offerings, materials, and competitive differentiators.
Coordinate with production and project teams for smooth project handoffs and client onboarding.
Participate in post-project reviews to evaluate client satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
5–7 years of experience in sales or business development within the Building Envelope Restoration or commercial construction industry.
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings (a plus).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory and attend client meetings or job sites as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
