A person who is able to work effectively with the Board of Trustees to foster a common vision and commitment and is able to build open, problem-solving relationships among all board members. Requirements / Qualifications

Possession of a valid administrative credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Required Preferred experience in special education administration or program oversight, with knowledge of special education laws, policies, and compliance requirements (IDEA, Section 504, ADA) Preferred experience with behavior-based Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) implementation within a charter school setting. Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in as a principal, assistant principal, coordinator or other school leadership position within a school setting, Experience in California Charter Schools required Track record in successful partnership building with the community preferred; fundraising and marketing experience a plus. Strong understanding of charter school law and governance A valid California Drivers License
