A politically astute leader who is willing to create and articulate a vision for Tubman, which is aligned with a results-oriented strategic plan that will move this charter to a new and improved level. Possession of a valid administrative credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) Required Preferred experience in special education administration or program oversight, with knowledge of special education laws, policies, and compliance requirements (IDEA, Section 504, ADA) Preferred experience with behavior-based Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) implementation within a charter school setting. Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in as a principal, assistant principal, coordinator or other school leadership position within a school setting, Experience in California Charter Schools required Track record in successful partnership building with the community preferred; fundraising and marketing experience a plus. Strong understanding of charter school law and governance A valid California Drivers License
