The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at Mauser are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any / all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list:
- Change oil in company vehicles
- Electrical (resetting of breakers, replace fuses, check outlets, light bulbs etc.
- Plumbing (replace old piping, fix leaks, install toilets, repair faucets and drains, etc.)
- General grounds maintenance
- Basic HVAC (filter replacement, clean condenser coils with/without chemicals).
- Light carpentry
- Painting of small wall space when needed
- Minor repair of gas and diesel pumps and underground monitoring systems.
- Follow, without exception, all work instructions and safety policies, including use of all safety equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
- Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards within the plant
- Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety; reduce downtime; decrease scrap; improve quality production; and improve plant efficiency
- Follows all safety rules and procedures
- Other duties may apply
- Works effectively as a team contributor on all required tasks
- Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating, performs maintenance on machinery, and coordinating work efforts with other employees.
- As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways.
- Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
- Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.

The pay rate is $19.70/hour.
