Project Manager – Sun Atlas Power (EPC Division)

Sun Atlas Power is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution and progression of solar projects across multiple markets. This role serves as the central operational coordinator responsible for driving residential and commercial projects from onboarding to installation and final utility approval (PTO). The Project Manager ensures that every project in the pipeline moves forward efficiently, accurately, and on schedule while upholding a best-in-class customer experience.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

Manage project pipelines – Oversee and maintain visibility on 100–300 active projects simultaneously across various stages (site survey, design, permitting, utility approval, installation, inspection, PTO). Monitor milestone progression using project-management software and proactively drive tasks to completion.

Coordinate cross-functional workflows – Collaborate daily with internal teams and partners including design/engineering, permitting, scheduling, procurement, construction, finance partners, and installation partners to ensure seamless project advancement.

Communicate with customers – Serve as a professional and responsive primary point of contact for homeowners and commercial clients. Provide proactive project updates, clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure a smooth customer journey from start to finish.

Liaise with finance and install partners – Coordinate finance milestones with lending partners, ensure documentation accuracy, and resolve project holds. Work directly with installation partners to schedule jobs, confirm readiness, and remove operational barriers.

Track documentation and approvals – Ensure permits, interconnection applications, installation documents, inspection results, and project records are completed, submitted, and stored accurately. Maintain detailed communication and documentation within CRM platforms.

Identify and resolve delays – Anticipate bottlenecks, maintain accountability among stakeholders, troubleshoot workflow issues, and escalate concerns appropriately to maintain project momentum.

Report and maintain operational visibility – Maintain accurate project statuses and pipeline reporting. Provide weekly progress dashboards and communicate risks to leadership.

Perform other duties as assigned – Support continuous improvements in project workflow, operational efficiency, and customer experience as Sun Atlas Power scales across new markets.
