Greenwood Project

The Greenwood Project was founded in 2016 based on two core principles:

“Students can’t be what they can’t see”

                                                        and

“There is no lack of talent, only a lack of opportunity.”

GP’s mission is bold, essential and long overdue.  We are dedicated to creating opportunities for qualified Black and Latino college students to attain high-trajectory careers in financial services through rigorous training and internships. At Greenwood Project, we don’t just talk about change; we are the catalyst for it, breaking barriers and building a more inclusive and diverse financial industry. Our people are the foundation that allows us to achieve our ambitious goals. Becoming part of the Greenwood Project team means joining a group of driven, passionate and intellectually curious individuals. To work here is to be crucial to the organization’s success.

Senior Manager, Partnership Growth

Ready to close deals that change lives? We're seeking a Senior Manager of Partnership Growth to drive corporate partnerships that create opportunities for Black and Latino scholars while building our sales function from the ground up. This position will report directly to the CEO.

If you have experience driving results in enterprise sales, business development, or nonprofit partnerships and want to apply those skills to meaningful work, this role combines the deal complexity you love with genuine social impact.

Every partnership you close directly creates career opportunities in finance for talented college students who face systemic barriers. You'll see the tangible impact of your work while building something meaningful.

This role offers the growth trajectory and deal complexity of a high-growth startup with the mission-driven purpose of creating opportunities for underrepresented scholars.

You'll own corporate partnership sales end-to-end—from prospecting Fortune 500 companies to closing multi-year strategic partnerships that create pathways for our students into finance careers.

Beyond your individual targets, you'll also coach our leadership team on enterprise relationship building, helping scale our partnership capabilities as we grow.

What makes this unique:

·        Build a sales function rather than inherit existing processes

·        Direct access to leadership and board members

·        Develop and close strategic partnerships that provide funding and support for our student programs

·        Shape partnership stories that present Greenwood's impact as compelling ROI and talent pipeline for partners

·        Build and maintain a pipeline of 50-70 qualified prospects with systematic outreach and follow-up

Sales Leadership and Organizational Development (20% of your time):

·        Coach leadership team and board members on enterprise relationship building and partnership development

·        Build and lead sales performance cadence, including weekly pipeline reviews and call coaching

·        Manage Revenue Operations to create scalable systems and repeatable processes for pipeline management and partnership tracking

·        Provide market insights by leveraging partner conversations to inform strategy and positioning
