We currently have opportunities for Engineering Technologist to join our team in our Jupiter, FL office. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace industry while working alongside experience engineers.

Job Summary:


The Engineering Technologist will assist in the design, development, and testing of aerospace and turbomachinery components in support of customer programs. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the engineering team in developing design sketches, layouts, schematics, 3D models, and drawings. 
  • Assist in the selection of materials and components and help identify product specifications. 
  • Support the definition of input boundary conditions (loads, pressures, temperatures, etc.) for analysis.
  • Perform basic hand calculations or assist with finite element analysis (FEA) under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Help review test data and model results, identify discrepancies, and propose design improvements.
  • Participate in team meetings to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal or customer review. 
  • Support project activities to meet schedule and budget requirements.

 

 

Requirements (Education & Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, or related technical field. Will consider applicants with an Associate technical degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience (internship or co-op experience strongly preferred)
  • Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, Fluent, CFX, etc. is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency with CAD Modeling tools – Unigraphics, ProE, Autocad, Catia, etc. is a plus.
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, materials.
  • Microsoft Office Products – Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Interpersonal skills – able to work well with and motivate/teach others.
  • Must be able to multi-task as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical direction.
