Position Summary:
Join Amkor's Finance Transformation team as a Co-op Intern and gain hands-on experience in building intelligent automation solutions that drive real business impact. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to work on the development of an AI-powered agent designed to automate and optimize month-end systems (accounting/audit) tasks. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals across Finance and IT, contributing to digital transformation initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight generation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and test an AI Agent to automate month-end close and audit-related processes.
• Support the integration of the agent with financial systems and existing processes.
• Participate in process mapping and documentation to identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to gather requirements and validate agent functionality.
• Apply machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enable intelligent task execution.
• Contribute to data analysis and reporting to measure agent performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Present findings, prototypes, and progress updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Active student status required.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, and digital transformation in Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Familiarity with Python, Power BI, Excel, or other data analysis tools.
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or RPA platforms is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior internship or coursework in finance, accounting, or agentic AI.
• Experience with SAP and/or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Location:
