The Onboarding & Launch Manager is the primary person responsible for successful training and onboarding of every new franchisee signed into the Threshold Brand family. A key responsibility is to coordinate and deliver a multi-month phased curriculum of group and individualized learning experiences. In addition, this role will be a lead partner during the launching phase of a new franchisee to assure important milestones are met for the health of the franchisee’s profitability in tandem with the business growth model. This role is also responsible for maintaining all learning tools and systems to support the training and onboarding experience. Training will be delivered through a variety of channels, including classroom, workshops, web-conference, meetings, videos, lectures, group discussions, screen shares, and at times in-field learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all new franchisee multi-phased onboarding paths and drives franchisee accountability for a successful completion of the entire curriculum.
- Responsible for all new owners (both startup and external transfers) from day of signing the FDD until completing the required onboarding path.
- Coordinates training sessions with the appropriate home office staff and monitors franchisees’ progress of the training checklist.
- Conducts tests and teach-back moments to ensure each franchisee understands the material presented.
- Confirm all pre-training requirements have been successfully completed prior to scheduling new franchisees for their on-site training.
- Plans, coordinates, leads, and manages the on-site training week for all new franchisees whether in-person or virtually.
- Responsible for training tools, documentation and support staff are ready to deliver the best training experience possible.
- Reviews all training documentation to ensure content is engaging, up-to-date and relevant to onboarding.
- Designs, administers, and follows through on assessments that reinforce/confirm learning objectives.
- Coordinates with home office to make sure appropriate departments are prepared to deliver content training for new franchisees.
- May workwith training specialists of some of the brands to confirm all tools and directives on the Operations and Owner’s intranet are accurate for executing and delivering new franchisee learning (specifically focusing on Start Up, Training, Safety and Customer Experience sections).
- This is only relevant for MaidPro (when referring to the two intranets).
- Lead support for new franchisees during launch period into long-term engaged franchisee.
- Responsible for consistent and timely feedback to grow new franchisee business habits and growth expectations during the first 90-days of being open for business.
- Works with Brand Leader and Operation Managers to assure launch milestones and standards are relevant with current business systems & trends
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in designing, implementing, evaluating, and refining training curricula across multiple delivery channels.
- Ability to deliver clear expectations concisely and appropriately.
- Ability to self-manage while working remotely
- Possessing analytical, problem-solving, and time-management/documentation skills.
- Experience with understanding and analyzing key financial reports. (Proformas and Profit and Loss Statements), preferred.
- Proficient with technology and the ability to transmit technology skills to others. (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, G-Suite)
- Experience with Monday.com or project management software, helpful.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in training and/or franchise support.
