Campus: Aurora, CO
Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (10 hours/week)

At Pima Medical Institute (PMI), we believe in the power of hands-on learning. We are looking for a passionate and experienced medical administrative professional to join our Aurora campus as a part-time Front Office Instructor. This is your chance to make a real impact by teaching the next generation of medical assistants the critical front-office skills they need to succeed—all with a flexible, 10-hour per week schedule.

What You'll Teach:
You will be responsible for delivering key courses in our Medical Assistant program, including:
Medical Office Management
Insurance Billing and Coding Fundamentals
Professional Documentation
Administrative Applications
A Day in the Classroom:
Your essential functions will include:
Implementing and evaluating daily lesson plans with scheduled activities and materials.
Planning instruction to achieve specific objectives based on student needs and established curriculum.
Monitoring student progress and providing the necessary support to meet learning needs.
Maintaining student attendance in accordance with established policies.
Coordinating engaging learning experiences like guest speakers and field trips.
Preparing and delivering lectures and practical demonstrations for individuals and groups.
Ensuring student safety and adherence to all precautions in the classroom and lab.

What You Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Healthcare Administration program (recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA), OR a graduate of a hospital-based program, OR equivalent training from an institution outside the U.S.
Three (3) years of occupational experience in Healthcare Administration.
(For non-graduates of an accredited program: Four (4) years of job-related training and experience are required.)
Current license, certification, or other designation as required by law to work in the Healthcare Administration field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
