From art classes and gardening clubs to day trips and movie nights, you'll make sure there's something for everyone. Social butterfly extraordinaire: Whether it's a lively game of bingo or a quiet chat over afternoon tea, you'll be the friendly face who connects residents and fosters a sense of belonging. More than just activities: You'll be a supportive companion, assisting with daily living like mealtimes and outings, and offering emotional support to those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs. Resident champion: Your voice matters! You'll gather feedback through surveys and family conferences to ensure activities truly hit the mark. Team player: You'll collaborate with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan activities, document progress, and escalate any concerns. Hygiene hero: Keeping things clean and safe is essential. You'll follow infection control protocols and maintain a tidy environment. Catering crewmate: You'll lend a hand with plating and serving meals, adhering to food safety standards and monitoring resident preferences. What we're looking for: A heart of gold: Your passion for enriching lives is the most important qualification! Can-do spirit: You're flexible, adaptable, and always up for a challenge. Creative spark: You're brimming with ideas to make every day an adventure. Excellent communication: You connect easily with residents and colleagues, building trust and rapport. Team player: You collaborate effectively and support others with a smile. Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting is essential.  First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one) Australian driver's licence preferable  Ready to make a difference?
