Join our GBIS team as an IT Service Delivery & Incident Management Specialist and play a key role in supporting national-scale IT operations and keeping our vital services running smoothly.

Reporting Line:                  Digital Support Manager  

About the role 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, quality, and efficiency of IT services across the business. Acting as the link between technical teams and key stakeholders, you’ll lead major incident responses, coordinate cross-functional teams, and maintain clear communication to restore services quickly and effectively.


You’ll also drive continuous improvement by monitoring service performance, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing ITIL-based best practices. From managing service delivery pipelines to supporting change management and providing backup Service Desk support, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of performance and service excellence.

Skills and experience 

•    Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•    5+ years’ experience in IT service delivery, operations, or incident management.
•    Strong understanding of ITSM principles and incident response frameworks.
•    ITIL Foundation certification (or higher).
•    Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
•    Excellent communication skills - able to translate technical details into clear business updates.
•    Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and automation/scripting is highly regarded.
