Job Description:
Advantage Investigations seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day recruitment, hiring, and onboarding for all departments across the country. The talent acquisition specialist will review prospective candidates, conduct initial candidate interviews, schedule secondary interviews, communicate progress with management, and onboard selected candidates. This position is a full-time exempt position located in our corporate office in Kannapolis, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Create and post job requisitions on Advantage’s career websites
- Identify and attract quality candidates across all functional and geographic areas
- Evaluate and screen resumes for qualifications
- Use recruiting tools to assess candidate skills and make decisions regarding candidates
- Contact potential candidates, schedule and complete initial interviews
- Source qualified candidates through applicant tracking system, job boards, employee referrals, social media postings and other avenues
- Monitor current hiring needs and the needs of the business to ensure pipeline of candidates to meet hiring needs
- Process new hire onboarding and pre-employment processing; to include follow-up with potential employees
- Assist with new employee orientation presentations and follow ups
- Forward thinking to stay up to date with recruiting and hiring trends
- Communicate with managers and other stakeholders regarding hiring needs and pipeline
- Ensure maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policy
- Attend job fair and career events when necessary
- Assist with any other HR or administrative tasks, and support the HR team as needed
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements for this position:
- Minimum 3 years recruiting experience required
- Demonstrates professional manner along with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities to clearly communicate with potential candidates and stakeholders
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing processes quickly
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data privacy standards when handling sensitive HR information
- Customer service focus
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, SharePoint
- Insurance Fraud Investigation experience a plus
Benefits: Advantage provides medical, dental, vision, life, disability benefits along with other supplemental policies, 401k, paid holidays and time off.
Compensation: Advantage pays on a bi-weekly basis at base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications ($57,000 - $60,000).
