JOB TITLE: Process Engineer II

REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager
FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is seeking a Process Engineer II to support Headquarters United States Space Force, Chief Operations Officer (HQ USSF/ COO). COO is subject to the direction and control of the Chief of Space Operations (CSO) and directs the United States Space Force National Capital Region staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support ongoing USSF stand-up, implementation planning efforts, support Space Force culture design and enablement
- Maintain, build, and serve as custodian to ensure compliance of various Information systems and SharePoint sites across multiple networks and directorates, design and implement information flow processes, assist with Intelligence oversight with leaders and space staff
- Oversee architectural design and integration content management, portals, collaboration, business processes, or other solutions.
- Develop/implement enterprise application systems and other innovative software solutions that have the capability to rapidly increase the visibility into data availability, the current location, and historical vantage point from the source, applying Process Mining methodology and dashboard reporting and charting.
- Develop, recommend, and implement knowledge management strategies, policies, procedures, and best practices by analyses to estimate the impact, operational effect, and supportability that the new technology will have on the existing processes, lifecycle cost, schedule, tradeoffs, interoperability, performance, suitability, and other salient characteristics. Design, develop, implement, and maintain information management structures, systems, and applications.
- Perform competency management oversight and development plans.
- Track progress on design/development/delivery of systems and/or capabilities to meet current and emerging mission requirements.
- Interface and perform technical and programmatic liaison support conducting or interfacing with program or system requirements, operations, planning Research, Developmental, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E), and system acquisition and sustainment.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ related experience
- Relevant experience related to performance of business process definition and business process modeling, and information system schemes.
- Ability to apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to drive innovation in collaboration for data analysis and knowledge management tools
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:
- Prior military experience with specific space operations expertise.
- Ability to research and draft talking points, briefing documents.
- Strong verbal, communication, and written skills; ability to create and edit written correspondence.
- Detailed Joint Planning and Advanced Special Operation Techniques (ASOT) qualified
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
- Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.
