We’re looking for an energetic, people-focused Service Manager to lead our Fresno team. What You’ll Do
As our Service Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the shop; guiding technicians, managing workflow, and making sure every repair leaves our customers confident and satisfied. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations and ensure every truck that rolls out of our shop does so in peak condition.
Your daily impact:
- Lead and motivate a talented team of technicians — setting the standard for professionalism, safety, and quality.
 - Collaborate across departments to hit company Top Level Metrics (TLM) and drive business success.
 - Diagnose issues through tests, inspections, and customer input — then clearly explain repair needs and solutions to customers.
 - Create accurate estimates for parts and labor, ensuring transparency and trust.
 - Maintain shop efficiency, cleanliness, and equipment — and make purchase decisions within company guidelines.
 - Oversee Quality Control for all service work to guarantee repairs are done right the first time.
 - Partner with the Parts Department and Sales Team to support customers and grow the business.
 - Occasionally join the Sales Team for fleet calls — showing customers that Betts is always in their corner.
 
Who You’ll Lead
You’ll directly supervise our Service Department team — mentoring, training, and inspiring them to deliver their best. Your leadership will help shape a positive, customer-first culture where everyone feels valued and motivated.
You’ll handle:
- Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members
 - Scheduling and assigning work
 - Coaching and performance reviews
 - Recognizing achievements and addressing challenges
 - Promoting teamwork, accountability, and “The Betts Way”

Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in the heavy-duty truck or automotive service industry
 - A valid driver’s license
 - Strong multitasking and time-management skills
 - A passion for mentoring others and leading by example
 - A focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
 - The ability to analyze financials, manage budgets, and plan effectively
 - Tech comfort: you can navigate email, browse the web, and use Microsoft Word and Excel
