As the Consumer Insights Intern, you will assist in establishing and maintaining strategies to meet organizational objectives. Under the direction of a senior level employee or manager, you will work on projects that support our Consumer Insights goals and results. You will use both interpersonal and technical skills appropriate to the specific job assignment, while adapting to new or changing situations in a team environment.
Hourly Pay Range: $25 - $39
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from Madison, WI 53783.
Primary Accountabilities
- You will develop an understanding of the organization’s business environments, corporate culture and structure to support work initiatives.
- You will be open to and support new ideas, systems and procedures. Generate creative ideas and actions in response to changing situations.
- You will develop relationships and connect with stakeholders
- You will gather data and reporting requirements related to specific initiatives
- You will adhere to best practices for data, data visualization and reporting
- You will attend regular meetings and huddles with team members to drive work forward
- You may occasionally present findings and work output to broader audiences
- You will communicate process and status often, utilizing effective business and technical writing skills and presentation methods
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Actively pursuing a degree in Consumer Insights or similar.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
- Must be currently seeking a baccalaureate, masters, or doctoral degree and be enrolled in an accredited college or university on a full-time basis or as required by the university's co-op program.
- Must have achieved 24 semester hours of academic credit before beginning the first work term.
- Major/program must align with internship role, preferably Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools including Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams
