The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with their assigned location's Customers. The Account Manager will work with the Customer to identify needs and requirements to promote RESA Power's products and services. The Account Manager's goal is to sustain and grow business with existing Customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, providing solutions, and championing RESA's portfolio of services.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted relationships with Customers to grow and maintain business. Research and understand Customer needs and requirements.
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives. Generate and qualify new business with existing Customers via in person, phone or email.
  • Schedule sales appointments and activities with assigned Customers.
  • Promote RESA services to existing Customers.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of products and services while proactively researching innovations to bring to customers.
  • Manage total prospecting, bid response and the project close-out process for existing business.
  • Resolve customer's complaints in an effective, respectful, and timely manner to maintain trust.
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
  • Effectively interact with internal and external Customers via written, verbale and presentation communication.
  • Research market sector trends to help RESA Power take advantage of market developments.
  • Diligently work to ensure goals are met, such as sales numbers and profitability goals for location accounts.
  • Generate projections, monthly reports and reviews of contracts, work orders and additional opportunities with Customers.
  • Work closely with GM and Outside Sales to review accounts status on a regular basis.
  • Work with GM, Outside Sales and Marketing to develop effective promotional campaigns and collateral.
  • Represent RESA Power at industry networking events and trade shows as needed.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Attending conferences, meetings and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong product knowledge of multiple brand electrical equipment services sold in division.
  • Knowledge of various industry standards such as: NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
  • Ability to demonstrate focus towards business growth with Customers.
  • Proven Sales experience-creating opportunities, creating and closing sales, excellent customer relations.
  • Proven ability to generate close Customer relationships.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to conduct effective presentations remotely using video conferencing software such as Zoom.
  • Working knowledge of the competitive power industry markets and utilities.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
  • Strong analytical, technical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to meet customers and internal stakeholders.
  • For positions that utilize a company vehicle, will be required to have a valid Driver's License.

Additional Information

Travel: up to 25% Travel - will primarily be regional with nationwide travel as needed.

Compensation:  $120 - $130K

Physical Demands: Occasional lifting 25lbs. Position sits completing computer and phone work.
