Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, handling inbound and outbound communications to generate leads, schedule appointments, and build lasting relationships. As a key player in our dealership's growth, you'll support our sales team by converting inquiries into showroom visits. This position offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume inbound calls, emails, texts, and internet leads, providing prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries about vehicles, services, and promotions.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for sales consultants, ensuring seamless hand-offs to maximize conversion rates.
- Follow up on leads through outbound calls, emails, and texts to nurture relationships and re-engage past customers.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, updating customer interactions and tracking lead progress to support dealership goals.
- Collaborate with sales, service, and internet teams to provide solutions and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Stay informed on Chevrolet inventory, features, pricing, and dealership policies to deliver accurate information.
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as updating website content or supporting special promotions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or a call center environment (automotive experience a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, personable demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and internet tools; quick learner for dealership-specific systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-energy setting.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Passion for the automotive industry and commitment to customer satisfaction.
