Responsibilities
Support the Finance Business Partner in ensuring the smooth running of the School’s financial activities.
Address and resolve queries on travel requests, expense claims, and ensure compliance with NTU travel policies.
Assist with general expense claims, including FYP claims, student travel, consultancy, research-related expenditures, and student club activities.
Facilitate procurement processes, including non-PO payments, verifying requests, tracking expenses, and performing goods receipt.
Verify equipment usage charging forms and ensure proper authorisation and cost recovery.
Update finance guidelines, checklists, procedures, and manage shared finance files for staff access.
Compile supporting documents for research reimbursement, monitor financial reports, generate SAP statements, and assist with asset management.
Assist in budget planning, allocation, utilisation tracking, journal reclassifications, and budget variation requests.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain up-to-date financial records and provide guidance on financial processes and policies.
Requirements
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
At least 5 years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience; experience in Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and ARIBA is an added advantage.
Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently as well as within a team.
Service-oriented with a positive attitude.
