Design Lead - Component Engineering

Job Summary
The Design Lead for Component Engineering plays a pivotal role in overseeing the design team, setting high design standards, and contributing to strategic design initiatives. This role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that design efforts are aligned with overarching business objectives and that innovative solutions are delivered to meet market demands. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Key Stakeholders To Comprehend Business Objectives And Integrate Design Thinking Into Component Engineering Processes, Ensuring Alignment With Product Development Strategies.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers By Providing Direction, Mentorship, And Feedback, Ensuring The Delivery Of High-Quality Design Solutions That Meet Project Requirements.
3. Present Design Concepts, Prototypes, And Strategic Initiatives To Stakeholders, Effectively Gathering Feedback And Iterating On Designs To Enhance User Experience.
4. Establish And Maintain Comprehensive Design Standards, Guidelines, And Best Practices Specific To Component Engineering, Fostering A Culture Of Excellence And Consistency Within The Design Team.
5. Stay Updated With Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies Relevant To Component Engineering, Driving Innovation And Excellence In Design Practices To Enhance Product Performance And Market Competitiveness.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Component Engineering Principles And Methodologies.
2. In-Depth Knowledge Of Cad Software Tools And Their Application In Design Projects.
3. Familiarity With Design For Manufacturing And Assembly (Dfma) Principles.
4. Excellent Communication Skills To Convey Design Concepts And Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
