Kreischer Miller is one of the largest independent accounting, tax, and advisory firms in the Greater Philadelphia area. At the same time, we’re just as passionate about helping our team members achieve the goals that are important to them professionally and personally.

Our Technology Advisory practice helps clients align technology with business strategy, strengthening resilience, efficiency, and insight- with the business focus and vendor independence of an accounting firm. We’re building a team of professionals who thrive in client-facing roles, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to make a visible impact in the middle market.

About The Team:

We are seeking an IT Advisory Senior Consultant to join our growing Technology Advisory team. This is a client-facing role designed for an experienced professional who can take ownership of project workstreams, advise on technology solutions, and mentor junior staff. You’ll work directly with mid-market clients across industries on initiatives involving ERP, data analytics, AI, cybersecurity, and IT governance. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage with client executives, see your recommendations put into practice, and help shape the future of our advisory practice.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead portions of IT Advisory engagements, from assessments to solution design and implementation support.
  • Evaluate client IT environments, including ERP platforms, cloud adoption, analytics/AI tools, and cybersecurity/privacy practices.
  • Present findings and recommendations to client executives, framing technical issues in clear business terms.
  • Collaborate with Kreischer Miller’s Microsoft team to help clients maximize value from solutions such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, and Copilot AI.
  • Manage workstreams on IT projects, including project planning, deliverable preparation, and stakeholder accountability.
  • Support business development through proposal input, client presentations, and thought leadership contributions.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of relevant professional experience in IT advisory, consulting, systems implementation, or managed services, with a strong middle-market orientation.
  • Solid understanding of ERP solutions (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable), analytics platforms, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Proven ability to manage workstreams or small projects independently, including client communication and deliverable ownership.
  • Strong business acumen and executive communication skills; able to translate technology concepts into business outcomes using tools like PowerPoint.
  • Consulting experience and familiarity with managing multiple client engagements strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CISA, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
  • Growth mindset, curiosity, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving IT landscape.
  • Must be based in the Greater Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region.

Career Path
This role offers a clear trajectory for advancement. Senior Consultants who demonstrate leadership and client impact will have opportunities to progress to Manager and Director roles. You’ll receive mentoring from practice leaders and robust professional development support, including industry certifications and continuing education in ERP, cloud, and cybersecurity.
