Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) responds to customer inquiries by telephone or email. CSRs resolve routine problems and communicate solutions or requested information to the customer. This position is responsible for analyzing a customer’s needs, which may include communication with other service or technical departments for follow-up as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage incoming customer service calls
- Assist customers with product information, product recommendations, price quotes and lead times, as well as municating all pertinent information via telephone or email
- Enter orders into ERP system
- Check orders entered by other CSRs in ERP system for accuracy
- Scan required documents into document management system
- Direct unresolved issues to a different department, as needed
- Communicate with other departments and management teams to resolve problems and expedite work
- Maintain documentation pertaining to customer service department activities
- Maintain in-depth working knowledge of the company’s brands, systems, and processes
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Organized and proficient at entering data
- Export Experience Preffered but no requried.
- Team player with a positive attitude, self-discipline, and self-motivation
- Communicate effectively with customers, and employees at all levels of the organization, both verbally and hrough written correspondence
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Comply with company processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle stress and work well under pressure
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
