IT Summer Internship 2026 bei Russell Standard

Russell Standard is hiring an IT Intern at our corporate office in RIDC Park,  Pittsburgh, PA for Summer 2026.

IT is a critical function in our business. Our IT Department  is responsible for managing a dynamic and evolving hybrid infrastructure. The environment consists of an on-premises Active Directory that is synchronized with Microsoft Entra ID, supporting our Microsoft 365 Business Premium suite.

The internship is designed to provide a qualified student with hands-on experience in a modern, hybrid IT environment while assisting the IT Manager with critical projects that will enhance the company's security, efficiency, and asset management capabilities.

.As an IT Intern, you will gain direct exposure to a wide range of industry-standard technologies, including: 

• IT Service Management (ITSM): Freshservice for ticketing and asset management.
• Endpoint Management: On-premises Group Policy, with a strategic migration to Microsoft Intune underway.
• Mobile Device Management (MDM): IBM MaaS360 for managing our fleet of iPhones.
• Cybersecurity: Duo Security for MFA, SentinelOne for endpoint protection, and various security auditing procedures.
• Infrastructure: VMware for server virtualization and SonicWall firewalls, Dell EMC Servers onsite.  
• IT Asset Management and CMDB Migration
• End-User Support and Device Lifecycle Management

 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a computer or technology field.
• Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers.
• Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
