Position: Credentialing Coordinator

Company: Diligent Billing Management

Location: Charlotte, NC – Remote (EST & CST)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reporting to: QA/Credentialing Manager

Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy? At Diligent, we’re seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is key in ensuring our physicians remain fully credentialed, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional patient care.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full credentialing cycle for new physicians, including state licenses, hospital privileges, payer networks, and malpractice insurance.
     
  • Oversee timely re-credentialing for existing providers, ensuring compliance with hospital, payer, and state requirements.
     
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of licensure, CME documentation, and other credentialing requirements.
     
  • Ensure compliance with OIG/SAM database checks, licensure verifications, and payer attestations.
     
  • Organize and retain all credentialing records using QGenda, eBridge, and other credentialing systems.
     
  • Provide positive, service-oriented communication with physicians, staff, and external contacts.
     
  • Support departmental compliance tasks and contribute to a collaborative, team-driven culture.
     

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
     
  • 1–2 years of experience in physician credentialing, payer enrollment, or a related medical field.
     
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy/security regulations a plus.
     
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook required).
     
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
     
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
     
  • Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
