Reporting to: QA/Credentialing Manager
Are you a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for accuracy? At Diligent, we’re seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is key in ensuring our physicians remain fully credentialed, compliant, and ready to deliver exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full credentialing cycle for new physicians, including state licenses, hospital privileges, payer networks, and malpractice insurance.
- Oversee timely re-credentialing for existing providers, ensuring compliance with hospital, payer, and state requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of licensure, CME documentation, and other credentialing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with OIG/SAM database checks, licensure verifications, and payer attestations.
- Organize and retain all credentialing records using QGenda, eBridge, and other credentialing systems.
- Provide positive, service-oriented communication with physicians, staff, and external contacts.
- Support departmental compliance tasks and contribute to a collaborative, team-driven culture.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in physician credentialing, payer enrollment, or a related medical field.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and privacy/security regulations a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook required).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
