Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist will inspect and test physical products for quality assurance. This role will complete high-quality analytical data to release products in support of the business objectives and goals. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work to maintain excellent quality products and provide timely communications within our quality team.

  

Essential Functions

  • Analyze samples according to the sample plan
  • Using tools, evaluate validity of data, apply basic statistics, compare to spec limits, and take appropriate action
  • Document, communicate, and archive results 
  • Monitor analytical systems, identify problems, and perform troubleshooting
  • Follow appropriate retest / resample procedures as outlined by the business
  • Communicate role-related information between Supply Chain Operations and Quality Manager
  • Utilize electronic tools (e.g. Digital Calipers, Durometer Gauge, MTS Testing Equipment, Etc.)
  • Follow applicable supporting work processes (e.g. Quality Management Process, Inspection Process, etc.)
  • Assure compliance to all ISO and IATF quality system requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

  

Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience 
  • Proficient with use of computers and MS office 
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly
  • Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Acute attention to detail with high level of organization and accuracy
