Family Medicine Physician Assistant
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our family medicine team of five physicians. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a collaborative, supportive and patient centered environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality health care and build lasting relationship with patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take medical histories, and perform physical assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic illnesses within the scope of family medicine
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Perform basic medical procedures (Cryo, Skin Bx, I&D, etc.) If qualified.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and certification (e.g., NCCPA certification)
- Prior experience in an outpatient family medicine or primary care setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems (eCW experience a plus)

Requirements
Clinical Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience as PA in a primary care or family medicine setting preferred
- Experience with Chronic disease management, preventative care and acute conditions at all age.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (eCW experience a plus) .
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based clinical guidelines and value based care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Culturally competent care and sensitivity to diverse populations.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform history and physicals.
- Develop and implement assessments and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Conduct preventive care visits, health screenings, and vaccinations.
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical documentation standards.
