About the Role

We are seeking a Highly skilled Senior Support Specialist EDI to join our innovative team. In thispivotal role, you will lead the coordination with healthcare payers, manageclaims submissions, and interpret payer reports to drive the efficiency andeffectiveness of our EDI operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensiveknowledge of EDI processes, exceptional analytical and communication skills,and a proven track record of collaboration across departments.


This position can be located at our offices inCharleston, SC or Dallas, TX.  


How you will make an impact:

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the oversight of EDI file submissions to healthcare payers and manage the receipt and interpretation of payer reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strategically update and maintain proprietary systems, enhancing accuracy and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Analyze complex claim issues, including batch and claim rejects, and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in resolving these challenges.
  • Monitor payer communications, ensuring timely and effective responses to inquiries and issues while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance comprehensive documentation of EDI processes, updates, and best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to identify, develop, and implement process improvements and system enhancements that drive operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate training sessions and mentorship for entry-level staff and new hires, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.

Skills and experience you have: 

You don’t need to check every box. We willconsider a combination of education and experience, including: 

Education &Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, information technology, or a related field is strongly preferred; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI support or a similar role within the healthcare industry, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid policies and EDI standards, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory changes effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and EDI-related software; experience with EDI integration and automation tools is a plus.

Pay Transparency 

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected hourly salary range for this role is $17.00 to $25.00, based on your experience,skills, and geographic location.
