The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a key member of the Human Resources team, partnering with site leadership and employees to provide HR support in a dynamic, fast-paced services environment. Reporting to the HR Director, this role supports day-to-day HR operations while also contributing to strategic initiatives that drive employee engagement, operational excellence, and compliance with employment laws and company policies.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality, with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization. 

This is an onsite position at our AMER HQ in Westerville

Responsibilities

  • Provide human resources assistance/support for Services HR Director and HR Business Partners
    Owns HR notification distribution process for new hires, terminations, department-wide HR communications, etc.
  • Provide HR support by responding to employee inquiries and escalating complex issues appropriately.
  • Enables team effectiveness, role clarity and process improvements
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance in handling employee information.  
  • Assist with maintaining personnel records, HR data accuracy and employee status changes (e.g. new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
  • Support HR communication processes, including distribution of announcements, policy updates and organizational changes. 
  • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized people. 
  • Generates and manipulates excel reports from various programs and distributes appropriately (e.g., performance management system, human resources SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ensures accuracy on monthly turnover report by capturing internal changes as they occur (e.g., new hires, terminations, internal transfers, promotions, etc.)
  • Compiles and maintains electronic and manual personnel records.  Processes and records information, such as personal data, compensation, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.  
  • Partners with functional areas of HR on various tasks and requests (i.e. recruiting, benefits, payroll, HRIS etc.)
  • Work with client group (when assigned) on HR issues and programs.
  • Assist with career path development initiatives and tracking of high potential employees.
  • Partner with HR team members to address moderate employee relations matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, I/) Psychology or a related field required.
  • Up to 2 years of Human Resources or related professional experience preferred.
  • 1 year of HR internship experience.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar HR certification preferred.  
  • Familiarity with HR principles, policies and employment laws.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex business and employee challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal—with strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • High level of initiative, professionalism, trustworthiness, and approachability; committed to ethical HR practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to shifting business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet) and experience with HRIS systems such as Oracle HCM and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) a plus. Data analytics experience preferred.

Time Travel Needed:

10% travel

Ability and willingness to relocate to a Plant or HQ assignment for 2-3 years after initial assignment.
