Description
Role Purpose As a Senior Strategic Engagements Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, driving value-based sales engagements from a senior position. This role focuses on business development and opportunity qualification, leveraging expertise to articulate the business impact of our services and solutions within a specific industry or portfolio. Your seniority is determined by your experience, deal complexity, and performance in key areas such as deal size, profitability, and time-to-close.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Growth
Lead outbound sales motions to develop new client opportunities (new clients, new buyers, or new services).
Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities within a specific industry or service portfolio.
Qualify sales opportunities based on client needs, strategic fit, and revenue potential, driving them through an 8-stage sales process.
Negotiate strategic elements and successfully close deals, ensuring alignment with commercial targets before handing off to delivery partners.
Strategic Collaboration
Develop client opportunity briefs through research, networking, and industry liaising.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and articulate the business value of solutions.
Engage in channel partnership sales with key technology providers (AWS, GCP, OCI, Nvidia), positioning offerings that align with client objectives and market trends.
Operational Excellence
Develop and manage a territory of clients aligned to a specific industry or portfolio.
Track key metrics related to average deal size, profitability, and time-to-close to drive performance.
Utilise a variety of business development, collaboration, and CRM tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SFDC) to manage the sales pipeline.
Team Development
Has no direct team management responsibilities but provides senior-level guidance and mentorship.
Leads by example in successful sales, business development, and client solutions.
Skills & Experience
Strategic Selling: 5-7 years of solution sales experience within a specific industry, with a proven track record of achieving a forecast of greater than 80%.
Client Relationship Management: A knack for building strong client relationships, repeat customers, and referrals.
Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills, with experience in value-based selling and opportunity qualification.
Technical & Domain Expertise: Technical certifications in relevant technology stacks (AWS/GCP/OCI/Nvidia), and experience in areas such as Custom Software, SaaS Integration, Cloud Migration, Data, and Automation.

Data-Driven: Measures success and refines approach based on key metrics like deal size, profitability, and time-to-close.
Collaborative: Works effectively with both clients and internal delivery partners.
Proactive: Actively drives outbound sales motions and develops new client opportunities.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
