Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior IT Project Manager to lead, plan, and execute complex technology projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of enterprise-level IT projects, including defining scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Assemble and lead dedicated project teams, providing direction, motivation, and support throughout the project lifecycle. Mentor junior project managers and team members.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and work breakdown structures. Proactively track project costs and performance to ensure completion within the approved timeline and budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Prepare and deliver clear status reports, presentations, and project documentation to executive leadership and team members.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors, ensuring they meet their contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables are of high quality and meet the defined business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the adoption of project management best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Project Closure: Oversee the successful closure of projects, including conducting post-mortems, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring a smooth transition to operational teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years managing large, complex enterprise-wide projects.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • Expert knowledge of both Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets exceeding $[Amount] and leading teams of [Number]+ members.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or a similar tool.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in Technology Management) is a plus.
  • Experience in [mention specific industry, e.g., software development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, government contracting].
  • Additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or ITIL.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), ERP systems, or large-scale software implementations.
  • Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience in [mention specific industry, e.g., software development, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, government contracting].
  • Additional certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or ITIL.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), ERP systems, or large-scale software implementations.
  • Prior FDA experience is a huge plus
  • Must be a US citizen and/or green card holder and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
