About the Job:
The National Account Manager at Ironclad will lead our efforts to grow revenue across regions by selling containment, storage, and waste management solutions. You will manage major accounts, forge new partnerships, and ensure we stay ahead in markets for specialty containment of solid and liquid industrial waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies that expand market share and drive revenue growth across multiple regions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industries such as construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, and utilities.
- Build, strengthen, and manage long-term relationships with high-value national accounts and decision-makers.
- Partner with marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives and with operations to ensure timely, safe, and compliant delivery of solutions.
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular performance reports, including pipeline status, forecasts, and competitive insights.
- Represent Ironclad at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events to promote our capabilities and expand our presence.
- Ensure all sales activities align with company standards for safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of proven success in sales within industrial, construction, or environmental sectors.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing sales teams.
- Background in equipment rental or asset-intensive businesses strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with strong presentation and reporting skills.
- Experience using sales tracking and reporting tools (ERP, Excel dashboards, or similar systems).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with executive-level decision makers.
- Ability to travel nationally as needed to manage accounts and attend industry events.
