INNOVIM is seeking Administrative Office Support specialists to assist with NOAA’s Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO) Systems Architecture and Engineering tasks and programs.

The program team is to assist managers, and task leads with Project Management in the execution of day-to-day activities as well as long-term planning, needs assessment, situational analysis, program analysis, and financial/budget analysis. The positions will focus on various support areas, including:

  1. Financial Services: These services include assisting with budget formulation and budget execution of OSPO’s direct appropriation, assisting in the execution of the annual office-wide reimbursable program, assisting in overall management of Agency internal controls and financial reporting, and assisting with
  2. Procurement and Operations Services: These services include space and facilities support, continuity of operations support, assisting contracting officer’s representatives with requisition and procurement, and travel and supply services.

Technical Support: Coordinate with NESDIS staff to develop, maintain and track project status utilizing spreadsheets for Microsoft Projects; assist with updating individual project schedules; prepare and format documents in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; assist with typing or editing documents; maintain project-related and workforce-related files

The Administrative Office Support team performs secretarial and administrative office duties for a program, department office, or project team which may perform multiple unrelated activities. Key tasks include:

  • Work closely with the NESDIS COS, SAE Director, NESDIS OCIO, OSPO Director, OSPO Deputy Director, OSPO COS, OSPO Front Offices, and the WCDAS Division Chief. Provide support and perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. The minimum qualifications are:
    • Associates degree (or equivalent)
    • Five years of administrative support and office management experience
  • Support the development and documentation of administrative policies and procedures for implementation throughout the
  • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets administrative directives and policies issued by the organization. Assist management on manpower, personnel management matters, travel preparations, training, filing and scheduling performance appraisals, tracking awards, surveys, special studies, and assist in review of time and attendance.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of the organization’s resource management system, program objectives, and applicable regulations, guidelines, directives, principles, and practices to monitor and maintain training programs.
