Your Impact
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping how OpenText designs, delivers, and scales its cloud-native platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenText Cloud. You'll lead complex initiatives that span infrastructure, automation, security, and observability - driving both technical excellence and engineering culture.
You’ll be expected to set direction, mentor others, and take full lifecycle ownership of the systems you help build. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge architecture and operations while scaling platforms that power mission-critical enterprise applications.
What the Role Offers
- Design and lead the delivery of resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OpenText Cloud
- Own and evolve our Kubernetes platform, including multi-tenant deployments, networking, scaling policies, and upgrades
- Drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards using Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud tooling
- Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and GitOps workflows
- Define and implement SRE best practices, including incident response, SLO/SLI tracking, observability, and service ownership models
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure platform-level controls meet enterprise and regulatory standards
- Act as a technical leader and mentor, helping grow talent within the SRE and cloud engineering community
- Contribute to strategic architectural decisions, including service modernization, workload migration, and platform engineering initiatives
- Proactively identify performance, reliability, or cost optimization opportunities across environments
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven success in a leadership or principal SRE/cloud engineering role
- Hands-on expertise in at least two major clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP); ideally all three
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes (including Helm, autoscaling, ingress controllers, security policies)
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and Git-based workflows
- Proficient in Python, Go, or equivalent scripting for automation
- Strong background in Linux administration, system security, and networking fundamentals
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, secure deployment, and rollback strategies
- Experience with monitoring/observability stacks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC2, HIPAA) and security by design principles
- Ability to influence architecture and guide teams without direct authority
