Overview:
Softtek Government Solutions Technology Service Division is looking for a Microsoft SharePoint Administrator to join our federal technology services practice. We are looking for a consummate professional that can confidently own entire Microsoft SharePoint no-code solutions from design through technical support. In this role, you will configure and administer SharePoint-based solutions for the United States Executive Office of the President in Washington, DC. You will work directly with the government’s product owner to analyze user stories, conduct agile estimation. You will collaborate with an agile team of UI/UX Designers, Database Developers, and System Administrators. This role will be required to work on site at EOP both in unclassified office environment and in a classified environment (i.e., SCIF). Please reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance to downtown Washington, DC near the Farragut West metro.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure and customize Microsoft SharePoint and support SharePoint environments, including site collections, permissions, and user accounts.
- Monitor SharePoint performance, perform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure SharePoint security and compliance with organizational policies.
- Design, configure, administer, and maintain no-code solutions with Nintex workflows to automate business processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot solution performance and issues.
- Validate that solutions comply with organizational requirements, policies and standards.
- Configure Business Intelligence dashboards in PowerBI and SharePoint.
- Documents and demonstrates technical solutions
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft SharePoint administration role(s)
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Nintex workflows, Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SharePoint Central Administration, PowerShell, and SQL Server.
- Proficiency in designing and administering Nintex workflows.
- Strong solution troubleshooting skills
- Dashboard design, creation, and management in SharePoint and PowerBI
- Experience in performing SharePoint installations, migrations, and SharePoint Add-in installation
- Confidence in proposing new ideas, using analytical skills, presenting to key stakeholders
- Proactively listening and effective adjustment to feedback received from team members
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work flexibly
- Attention to detail, ability to self-manage, check own work, and maintain quality
- Ability to work within a team and independently, working methodically to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills critical
- Proof of active CompTIA Security+ certification prior to employment
- US Citizenship
Required Clearance:
- Must be eligible for a TS clearance
