About the role
Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Regular full-time Medical Services Representative to join our dynamic Medical Laboratory & Stem Cell Services team.
The Medical Laboratory & Stem Cell Services team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing administrative support for all Medical Services Programs and to the members of the team as necessary for our National consolidated workload.

- Leveraging your excellent organizational and time management skills, you will prioritize multiple tasks to be completed by varied deadlines.
- With your background in administration, you will complete meticulous data entry and manage administrative responsibilities, including office equipment operation, and correspondence preparation.
- Harnessing your capability to work with well others, you will become team oriented and thrive in a collaborative team environment. Ability to work independently as well.
- Utilizing your superior interpersonal and communication skills you will communicate in both written and/or verbal with internal and external customers.
- Skilled at navigating periods of intense workflow and maintaining productivity.
Desired education and skills
- Completion of secondary education. Preferably a two (2) year post-secondary diploma in related field and/or recent related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).

- This role will work in a hybrid environment with requirements to be onsite at our Calgary Operations Centre located at 2775 116th Avenue NE location 40% of the time/days of the week.
- Physical requirements - ability to lift weight up to 10 kg (22 lbs.).
