Job overview and responsibilities

The Product Manager will lead the development and execution of applications that align with business goals and deliver an exceptional user experience. This role is responsible for shaping product vision, defining requirements, and working cross-functionally with engineering, design, business stakeholders, and end users to build scalable, intuitive, and innovative applications that deliver measurable value. Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product plans.

  • Product Development and Lifecycle Management – Help define and communicate the roadmap for services within your domain, ensuring it supports company objectives, prioritizes features, and aligns with company priorities. Maintain capacity management plans for the team, ensuring roadmaps align with team capacity.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Leadership  – Interact with business partners, enterprise project teams, and channel teams to understand their needs, priorities, and root of the problem to ensure alignment between the customer, business, and technology solution.
  • Data Analysis and Guidance  – Monitor progress of deliverables, keep dependent teams and projects informed on progress; take corrective action if deliverables cannot be met or if higher priorities disrupt prior commitments. Help identify investment opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize investments for the feature.
  • Product Strategy  – Assist in developing a strategic technical roadmap. Analyze and define efficient, cost-effective solutions to support company objectives, business processes, and functional requirements.
  • Product Research and Development  – Conduct and participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements; prepare documentation to communicate and validate findings.
  • Product Backlog  – Maintain and prioritize the IT product backlog to ensure it accurately reflects the technical vision and stakeholder priorities.
  • Product Launch – Review and validate QA test plans; support the QA team during test execution.
  • Documentation – Document product features, functionalities, and processes for internal and external stakeholders. Provide training and support to users and stakeholders as needed.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of software product management experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., ADO, Jira)
  • Solid knowledge of product management best practices, functional design, and application delivery methodology
  • Strong multitasker with proven experience handling multiple roles and projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and strong planning/organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio
  • Knowledge of project management methodology and some project management skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functions and lead without authority
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
